I used to be very cynical and skeptical about the benefits of Meditation and Dhamma. This perception changed when, Vivian, my better half introduced me Bhante Debongshi and Dhammanjali Meditation Center a year ago. Right from the start, I felt a very deep connection with Bhante. His simple explanation to all complex life stresses attracted me to learn from his immense knowledge and understanding of the Buddha's teachings. He taught me the simple meditation technique of concentrating on your own breathing to calm my body and mind. Every day after work, Vivian and I look forward to joining him in meditation from 7 pm to 8 pm in the peaceful environment of Dhammanjali Meditation Center. ~ Chen Lim
Bhante's meditation class went thoroughly in depth into the teachings of meditation. There was about 30 minutes of silence after receiving wisdom and knowledge about meditation and how it influences the mind. The 30 minutes were silent and flew by and was extremely relaxing. Bhante is filled with experience and knows a lot about meditation, his presence itself is soothing and nurturing and his classes are an excellent compliment with yoga. ~ Vanessa
