Vesak Day on Saturday, May 2, 2026, @ 6:00 p.m. SK time, (online)

As we conclude the year, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to each of you for your dedication, commitment, and the positive impact you continue to make within our community. Over the past nine years, this journey has been both dynamic and deeply meaningful, and it would not have been possible without the unwavering support and contributions of every individual involved. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed and are truly appreciated. At DMC, we value the opportunity to serve you and are grateful to have you as part of this ongoing initiative. We look forward to continuing our shared commitment to supporting your spiritual growth and success in the years ahead.

   Gratitude (kataññū katavedī)

The emotional pain that follows the loss of a loved one can be deeply profound. Healing often unfolds through remembrance—by sharing cherished memories and stories, and by engaging in wholesome practices such as meditation and listening to Dhamma discourses. These collective acts of reflection and virtue can bring comfort, strengthen our sense of connection, and offer meaningful support during times of grief.
With deep respect and gratitude, we will remember one of our noble friends (Kalyāṇamitta), the esteemed Korean Zen Master, Dr. Ki Youn Sunim. We honour his life, wisdom, and compassionate contributions with heartfelt appreciation. May the merits dedicated in his memory support his onward journey, and may the blessings of the Triple Gem accompany him on his samsaric path toward the realization of Nibbāna.
